CALLING ANOTHER STATION
1. Set the channel selector to the channel (A or B) for the

easily reach you.
2. Press CALL. The station that is on and set to the
selected channel sounds a tone.
You can monitor only one
station at a time.
3. Hold down TALK and speak in a normal voice. When
you finish speaking, release TALK and listen for the
response. Ô
The TX indicator stays lit until
you press CALL or TALK. This

MONITORING
After pressing LOCK on a
station, you cannot call or talk to
that station until you press
TALK or CALL to release the
lock.
You can set any station so it continuously transmits sounds
from the area where it is located to another station. For
example, you could set the station in a baby’s bedroom,
then use the station in the kitchen to monitor the sounds. Ô
1. Press LOCK on the station in the area you want to
monitor. The TX indicator lights. Ô

2. Set the channel selectors on both stations to the same
channel.
Keep the intercom dry; if it gets wet,
wipe it dry immediately. Use and
store the intercom only in normal
temperature environments. Handle
the intercom carefully; do not drop it.
Keep the intercom away from dust
and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth
occasionally to keep it looking new.
3. When you finish monitoring, release the lock by
pressing TALK or CALL on the station in the area you
are monitoring. The TX indicator turns off. Ô
USING ADDITIONAL STATIONS
Service and Repair
You can add additional stations to your intercom system as
long as they transmit on the same frequency. The stations
and their box are labeled to indicate each station’s
frequency – A (200 kHz), B (270 kHz). Stations in the same
box have the same frequency.
If your intercom is not performing as
it should, take it to your local
RadioShack store for assistance. To
locate your nearest RadioShack, use
the store locator feature on
RadioShack's website
Be sure the letter on the stations you plan to add matches
the letter on your current stations. If you want to set up a
separate intercom system, however, be sure it operates on
a different frequency.
The Shack (843-7422) and follow the
menu options. Modifying or
tampering with the intercom's internal
components can cause a malfunction
and might invalidate its warranty and
void your FCC authorization to
operate it.
